After the successful completion of several data centers in the United States, Meta proceeded to build a new data center in Lulea, Sweden – its first outside the United States.

Meta employed the services of PASE to provide programming assistance and to assist the local design-build team in adhering to Meta requirements. Because of its location — close to the Arctic Circle — the Lulea Data Center is powered almost entirely by existing hydropower.
