Structural Design of Four-Story Condominium Building
The Ryland Mews Lofts Project consists of the construction of a four-story building providing 30 condominium units, including 15 live/work units on the first floor. The building’s structure is wood-framed with manufactured roof and floor trusses. The lateral load system consists of plywood shear walls, supplemented with steel frames along the front elevation. The project includes the restoration and strengthening of a small, turn-of-the-century, two-story building.
